The Feralco Group was founded in 2000 by the Feralco AB acquisitions of the water treatment businesses of Alcan and Laporte in the United Kingdom. Since then, the company has continued its strong growth through strategic acquisitions and the development of new industrial plants. As one of the leading European manufacturers of high-performance water treatment and process chemicals, Feralco helps provide clean drinking water to more than 100 million people in Europe.
Feralco has 18 production facilities in eight European countries. Our wide presence across Europe enables us to meet the local needs of a broad range of end-users. Products are tailored, as required, to meet specific applications and reliably delivered to meet short lead times. As well as a comprehensive product line, Feralco can provide specialist advice and technical support to ensure the most cost-effective water treatment solutions. This service includes feasibility studies (jar testing), on-site trial support, tank inspections and plant performance monitoring.
Feralco offers a broad range of coagulants and flocculants for the treatment of drinking water and municipal and industrial effluents as well as reagents for industrial processes like papermaking or chemical production. Furthermore, Feralco develops technologies to produce coagulants for wastewater and recycling of sewage sludge as well as specialised coagulants. Traditional products such as aluminium sulphate have been joined by new and innovative additives derived from the synthesis of highly cationic organic polymers which fulfil today’s demand for high-quality water while meeting stricter discharge consent limits.

Incopa is a Cefic Sector Group (European Chemical Industry Council) and is the voice of the European coagulant producers. It supports the organs of the national and European legislation and the process of standardisation and harmonisation within the European Union.
